What is the main difference between PET and PETG?

PETG is chemically modified with Glycol, making it permanently amorphous. This gives it much higher toughness, clarity, and ease of thermoforming compared to standard PET, which is brittle and crystalline.

Can your PETG be used for food contact and sterilization?

Yes! Our PETG-F (Food) and PETG-M (Medical) grades are FDA compliant and can withstand common sterilization methods like Gamma irradiation and Ethylene Oxide (ETO).

Do I need to dry PETG sheets before thermoforming?

PETG is much less hygroscopic than materials like PC or standard PET. For most applications and short cycle times, pre-drying is not necessary, which simplifies production.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is one pallet. For custom colors or thicknesses, a slightly higher MOQ may apply. Contact us for specific details.
