Q1: Are CPLA containers safe to use in the microwave?
A: CPLA containers are heat-resistant up to 90°C–100°C, making them perfectly safe for serving hot food directly from the kitchen and for limited, short-term warming. However, they are NOT designed for high-power, prolonged microwave reheating. If your end-consumer needs to intensely reheat the meal in a microwave, we strongly recommend our PP (Polypropylene) containers, which can withstand up to 120°C.
Q2: What is the exact difference between standard PLA and CPLA?
A: PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic derived from plant resources like corn starch, but it has low heat resistance and is best suited for cold foods. CPLA (Crystallized PLA) is a specially modified version that undergoes a crystallization process. This dramatically improves its heat resistance and structural durability, allowing it to safely hold hot foods up to 100°C without warping or melting.

A: Yes.
