Q1: Is 0.3mm (300 microns) APET rigid enough for heavy or multi-tier cake packaging?

A: 0.3mm is the engineering "sweet spot" for standard bakery applications like single-tier cakes, cupcakes, and pastry dome lids, offering an excellent balance of clarity and cost-efficiency. However, for heavier multi-tier cakes, dense mud cakes, or large-format clamshells that require high top-load strength to prevent crushing during stacking, we strongly recommend stepping up to 0.5mm - 0.8mm gauges to ensure absolute structural rigidity.

Q2: Will APET sheets become brittle or crack in refrigerated or frozen environments?

A: No. Unlike materials like PVC or standard PP, APET possesses exceptional low-temperature impact resistance. It maintains its glass-like clarity, structural integrity, and flexibility at refrigerated temperatures (2°C to 8°C) and can easily withstand deep-freeze environments down to -40°C without micro-cracking or shattering, making it the ideal choice for cold-chain food and dessert packaging.

Q3: Will the anti-static (ESD) protection on your electronic trays wear off over time?

A: Cheap anti-static sheets rely on topical chemical coatings that degrade with physical wiping or low humidity. HSQY utilizes permanent conductive masterbatches that are uniformly dispersed throughout the APET polymer matrix during extrusion. This guarantees a stable surface resistance (10⁶ - 10⁹ ohms) that is completely independent of ambient humidity and lasts for the entire lifecycle of the electronic packaging, protecting sensitive PCBs and microchips from ESD damage.

Q4: Is there a visual difference between Virgin APET and Recycled RPET sheets?

A: Virgin APET offers absolute water-white, glass-like transparency, which is critical for premium cosmetics and high-end retail displays. Our high-grade RPET (Recycled PET) offers excellent clarity and identical mechanical performance, but may exhibit a very faint, natural blue or yellow tint inherent to post-consumer recycled flakes.
